Positive Youth Expressions, Incorporated (P.Y.E.) is a non-profit organization established in the State of Maryland in 1993. Its mission is to " Encourage and empower children, youth and families to seek excellence in body, soul, and spirit, by providing formal and informal educational experiences, outreach services and resources through collaborating with community organizations, businesses, and local, state, and federal agencies.

Positive Youth Expressions currently operates a Maryland State Department of Education approved licensed child care center , academy for grades prek4 through 8, a Before and After School Program and a summer enrichment camp in southwest Baltimore City. These programs have been successfully operating since 2002.

Positive Youth Expressions, Inc. is a multi-service agency that provides a plethora of services to hundreds of children, youth and families in Baltimore City and surrounding counties.

Positive Youth Expressions, Inc. is a member of and collaborates with, the Maryland Association of Supportive Housing, Accelerated Christian Education, National Christian Counselors Association, Maryland Family Network, Maryland State Department of Education Excels Program, Family and Children Services of Maryland, Johns Hopkins Caring For the City Program, Baltimore City Youth works, ARCO ( Ashburton, Rosemont Community Organization) and Fayette Street Outreach.

Positive Youth Expressions, Inc. has embarked on a new project. Our ‘New City of Hope’ Project, proposes to build a new state of the art child care center and community center in the 1000 block of North Dukeland Street and a literacy center in the 1000 block of Ashburton Street in west Baltimore. The community center will offer computer literacy classes, a reading lab, GED classes, after school activities, workshops and seminars that focus on health and nutrition, substance abuse prevention for children and youth, and family counseling. The community center will also serve as a meeting place for community meetings and provide outreach services to families who reside in the area.

Positive Youth Expressions, Inc.has received several citations from President Barack Obama, Maryland Governor, Mayor, City Council,Senators and Delegates and other elected officials for their tireless work with children, youth and families.
